S. Khalid Mahmood appointed as New
Consular for Sydney

Presently Visas, Passports and related services in Australia are only being provided by Pakistan High Commission in Canberra but High Commissioner Syed Jalil Abbas Jilani announced in Sydney on the Pakistan Independence Day function that the Pakistani Consulate Sydney will recommence visa and passport processing in few months.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan announces the appointment of Mr. S. Khalid Mahmood as first Consular to the Consulate General of Sydney Australia. He will get his position in mid November 2007. He held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad. Presently he is serving as Deputy Chief of Protocol of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamabad Pakistan.
