Syed Zafar Hussain, Editor-in-Chief of Sada-e-Watan talked to Popular No: 1 Radio of Australia 2GB on Friday, 11th January 2008. The Host of Afternoon shows Mr. Luke Bona asked about the current political situation of Pakistan. He asked for the development of investigation into the death of Benazir Bhutto and PPP demand for UN probe into assassination of Benazir Bhutto. During the Interview Syed Zafar & Luke Bona discussed the role of the Pakistani law enforcement agencies, suicide attack's and the upcoming election in Pakistan of 18th February 2008.

The Editor-in-Chief of Sada-e-Watan  Sydney, Syed Zafar Hussain welcome the statement of the Australia’s Foreign Minister Stephen Smith who hoped the Australian cricket team’s tour of Pakistan would go ahead despite renewed security fears after a suicide attack in Lahore on Policemen & civilian people.

Luke Bona

Luke Bona started at 2GB 873 at the age of 16 in 1978 as the office boy, and soon worked his way up to the tape room to then become panel operator for Dita Cobb. Luke also worked with radio greats from the likes of Mike Carlton, John Pearce, Mike Gibson, Mickey de Stoop and Bill Dowsett. Luke later left 2GB in 1980 to pursue a career in announcing. Luke also did the "bush circuit", working at radio stations 2LF Young and 2BS Bathurst, when he became programme director and launched their FM station, B-Rock. CEO George Buschman lured Luke back to the big smoke in January 2000, after winning four prestigious radio industry awards: two for best talk personality and two for the Brian White Memorial Awards for Journalistic Excellence.

Luke is now a regular presenter on 2GB 873, with his weekend programme on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 2pm  as well as filling the chair for Chris Smith in his afternoon show when Chris is away. The Weekend Wireless programme is a bright, breezy, easy-flowing magazine style show. This entertaining program has everything. Interviews with the Prime Minister, prominent sporting icons, information about what's on in Sydney, movie reviews, competitions, giveaways, traffic information and beach reports.
