On Saturday the 5th of September 2009, The Imam Hasan Centre Annangrove Sydney celebrated the birthday of Imam Hasan A.S. and the Centre’s 5th Birthday, by the grace of God the centre has come a long way and to see the young children reading the Qur'an in Ramadhan is wonderful.

In line with the lead of the US President to foster better understanding between the Muslim community and the US government, the US Consul General to Sydney Judith Fergin attended the program at IHC Annangrove Sydney. The CG of USA also presented various awards including the Community Award, Youth Award, Sportsperson of the Year and many appreciation awards to the community volunteers. The program of celebrating this wonderful occasion was started with Maghrib Salaat and attended by large members of the Australian Muslim Community Men & Women of all ages.
