Dear Zafar Sahib,
I congratulate the Sadae- Watan on its first five years of service to the Pakistan community in Australia, New Zealand and to wider readership. Well done! Since its maiden journey. the online edition has set itself to promote the wider Pakistani news,culture, festivals and celebrations, and achievements of Pakistani people .
Australia and New Zealand are wonderful countries to live, and every sector of our society is allowed to play its part in making these countries great places to live in.
I am sure the online Sadae- Watan and its hard working Chief Editor will continue to positively promote the wider Pakistani culture and values. It is very important for the Pakistani migrants and future generation to maintain their identity, while we integrate into the local customs and values.
The Sadae- Watan Sydney has important role to play in this journey.
As the only Member of Parliament of Pakistani-origin in this region I have been given a unique honour and opportunity at the decision-making level. I commit myself not only to addressing the issues and concerns of the South Asian and ethnic communities but also help Pakistan in many spheres of life.
Once again, my best wishes for the fifth anniversary of the Sadae Watan, as I am sure readers in Australia, New Zealand and worldwide would enjoy learning about the Pakistani people of these lands 'down-under'.
