The Pakistan Association of Australia is holding a function with cricket legends, Shoaib Akhter, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Muttiah Muralitharan, currently playing in the World XI Series here in Sydney. Other players are yet to confirm.

The players have donated their time to help the earthquake victims for a dinner function to be held at 8pm on Tuesday 18 October 2005 at the Concord Function Centre run by Mr Manjit Singh.

Mr Singh has expressed this afternoon "It is my pleasure to help the victims of this disaster as there has been such a loss of humanity. If I can contribute to this cause, I am more than happy to do so whether financially or otherwise."

The players have expressed similar sentiments and look forward to meeting with those willing to donate for this worthwhile cause.

$100 Per Person or a Table of 10 people will cost $1000 plus corporate sponsorship available for limited tables.

We make a pledge to donate all monies received to assist this cause direct to Pakistan.
