The Pakistani community of South Australia established the Pakistan Australia Association of South Australia. The Aim of PAASA is developing a better and deeper understanding of Pakistan, its culture, religion, and people. PAASA also encourages and promotes friendship, goodwill and better understanding between the Pakistani-Australians and other Australians. Membership of the Pakistani-Australian Association of South Australia is open to all Pakistanis living in South Australia, and also to all those Australians who are interested in Pakistan and Pakistani culture. Dr. Azhar Saeed is the elected President and Dr. Siraj ul Haq is Vice President & Dr. Mohammad Afzal Mahmood is the General Secretary. The PAASA Official Website launched on Australia Day 2008.
