SHADOW IMMIGRATION MINISTER CONDOLES WITH EJAZ KHAN
Sydney: Shadow Minister for
immigration Annette Hurley has expressed her heartfelt condolences at the loss
of precious lives and property in Pakistan in recent earthquake. In a meeting
with Pakistan Australia Association (PAA) President Ejaz Khan at a dinner
arranged by Australian Chinese Community Association (ACCA) here on Friday she
sympathized with the latter over the colossal loss of human lives in the
tragedy. Ejaz Khan informed her about the latest situation in the earthquake-hit
areas and the efforts which local Pakistani community was making to help the
quake victims. He also appreciated the overall response of Australian public to
the donation appeal launched by PAA in collaboration with other charitable
organizations.
