Syed Ghulam Abbas Gillani Hosts a Lunch for Deputy Speaker Mr.Faisal Karim Kundi

On Thursday 27th May 2010, Famous Pakistani dignity & Councilor of Liverpool Council Sydney Syed Ghulam Abbas Gillani hosts a Lunch in the Honour of the visiting Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi who is on official visit of Australia. The Lunch Party was held at Comfort Inn Liverpool and attended by High Commissioner of Pakistan Mohtarma Fauzia Nasreen, Consul General of Pakistan Azam Mohammed,Counsellor Hamid Asghar, Mayor Liverpool City Council Wendy Waller and other Guests.
Mr. Ghulam Abbas Gillani & Mayor Wendy Waller welcome Honorable Guest, Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi.Mayor Wendy Waller appreciated Pakistan’s role and contribution to war against terrorism.The Mayor also presents two Poetry Urdu books of Abbas Gillani to the High Commissioner of Pakistan Mohtarma Fauzia Nasreen and Chief Guest Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi.
Deputy Speaker Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi thanks host S. Abbas Gillani for arranging a nice Lunch party in best way with traditional Pakistani food. He said that I meet Australian officials in Canberra & Sydney. He said Pakistan values high its relations with Australia and both the countries have similar views on global issues.
The Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi said that the new democratic government was confronting challenges that will be overcome in due course with people’s support. He said that democracy in Pakistan was gaining strength and the new government has set its priorities for the welfare of the people of the country. He said that provisions of education, health care, jobs and social amenities were the top priorities of the democratic government. The Deputy Speaker Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi said that people were expecting a lot from the new parliament and it was committed to come up to the expectations of masses. He said that the world democratic forces should give support to strengthen democratic institutions in Pakistan. He appreciated the role of Australia and western countries for restoration of democracy in Pakistan and assistance to Pakistan in the fields of education, health and agriculture. Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi said that President of Pakistan, Prime Minister of Pakistan & Foreign Minister of Pakistan will be coming to the visit of Australia.
