The High Commissioner for Pakistan H.E. Abdul Malik Abdullah Presents Credentials to the Governor General of Australia
On Thursday, 28th July 2011, The New High Commissioner of Pakistan for Australia His Excellency Mr. Abdul Malik Abdullah presented credentials to The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC at the Canberra. The High Commissioner Mr Abdul Malik Abdullah was accompanied with the DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSIONER Mr. Tasawar Khan & DEFENSE ADVISOR Brig Zahoor Ahmed. A "traditional ceremony" was also held at Governor General House to welcome the High Commissioner in Australia.
The Hon. Governor General welcoming the High Commissioner expressed the hope that Abdul Malik Abdullah’s stay in Australia would prove to be fruitful to enhance ties between the two countries.
Thanking the Governor General for the warm reception, High Commissioner conveyed best wishes from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Governor General, the Government and people of Australia. The Pakistan's High Commissioner pledged to work diligently towards further strengthening the friendly relations of Pakistan-Australia.
