Kim Beazley was chief guest at the 42nd Annual AFIC Congress Dinner

Last weekend, the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils Inc. (AFIC) held their 42nd Annual Congress Dinner in Sydney. AFIC holds a 2 day congress followed by a dinner every year to acknowledge the efforts of the different Islamic councils in Australia. The Dinner was attended by many members of different cultural backgrounds and politicians. The Federal opposition leader Hon. Kim C. Beazley was the chief guest of the evening. The Hon. Kim C. Beazley address the gathering after a welcome speech by AFIC President Dr. Ameer Ali. The function was conclusion with prayer by Mufti of Australia, Sheikh Tageddine El Hilaly.
