Open Invitation to AMCRAN book launch at Bankstown Town Hall Sydney
Dear Mr Zafar Hussain,
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
On behalf of AMCRAN, I would like to thank you your interest in attending our
book launch.
The production process of all three editions of the booklet has not been easy --
the first two editions were produced under extreme time pressure and the
difficult challenge of keeping up with the ever-changing laws. Even with project
funding assistance from the Law and Justice Foundation, the UTS Students'
Association and the UTS Law Faculty, the third edition took some time to
complete due to the difficulty in translating lengthy and complex legal concepts
and the added problem of typesetting in community language scripts.
With the help of Allah SWT, I am pleased to announce that the third edition of
the Anti-Terrorism Laws: ASIO, the Police and You is now ready to be launched in
four languages: English, Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia and Urdu.
With pleasure, I invite you to attend the launch of the third edition series and
join AMCRAN in celebrating the completion of this project.
