The High Commission is receiving enquiries from the members of the Pakistani
community in Australia regarding any bank account to make donations for
earthquake victims in Balochistan or any other disaster situations in Pakistan.
You may kindly publish the following information for their benefit.
The High Commission
is maintaining an exclusive account with ANZ Bank for receiving donations for
Earthquake victims and other National Disaster Management purposes. The details

South Asian Film Festival In Canberra

You had kindly published the information regarding screening of two Pakistani
films at the South Asian Film Festival on 14 November 2008. However, it would be
appreciated if you could remind your readers, especially those in Canberra,
about the Festival again by publishing the following schedule:
The High Commission
for Pakistan will be participating in the South Asian Film Festival, to be held
at the Tuggranong Arts Centre, Corner Cowlishaw & Reed road, Greenway, Canberra
ACT 2901 by screening the following two Pakistani
movies at the time and date given below:-
1. Khuda Kay Liye (In the Name of God) at 2.00 pm, Saturday, 29 November 2008
2. Ramchand Pakistani at 7.30 pm, Saturday, 29 November 2008
Tickets would be available at the booth for A$ 5/- each.
