Appeal for Unity of Pakistani Community
Qaid-e-Azam created Pakistan, one country for one nation. Population of Pakistan is approximately 120 million and the community that lives in Australia is very tiny as compared to the size of the country.
If we do not sit together and continue dividing ourselves how do we expect 120 millions to unite?
Unity means one voice, power and better terms. If you unite, Pakistanis will unite in Pakistan. If we cannot unite how will they unite?.
I beg you all to give up your differences and become one and enjoy the power of unity.
The way it is going now will get the community nowhere. It is not good for the community and it is not good for Australia – We are a multicultural society but are one nation and God forbid if security of Australia is ever challenged we will defend Australia like a metal wall around it.
I have been overseas for nearly 12 months and this is the reason for my inability to play any role in uniting the community.
Think about the nations that were wiped out after the First World War. They all have common platforms in Australia. It is only we who don’t. How can we be recognized without a community place? This is the challenge for the youngsters to meet.
I am aware of a recent interview published locally but this is not the reason behind this appeal. This is only because I wish to see the community sharing one platform, sitting under one roof and transforming into one voice.
Please think and do something about it. I don’t recommend going back to the drawing board as the founder members did in 1989. I look forward to all of you to achieve what the Founder Members did in 1989 without reinventing the wheel.
