IFTAR DINNER BY HIGH COMMISSIONER OF PAKISTAN HIS EXCELLENCY ABDUL MALIK ABDULLAH FOR AUSTRALIAN PAKISTANI COMMUNITY
Consul General of Pakistan Azam Mohammed Sahib,Ladies and Gentlemen as you know we are here at the Spice of Life Restaurant Sydney for Iftar Dinner hosted by the High Commissioner H.E. Abdul Malik Abdullah with a view to meet the community members. This is unique function in the sense that the host of this party is also the chief guest of this party.
On behalf of Pakistan Association of Australia,I would like extend my sincere and cordial thanks to the High Commissioner for organizing this event for the community. Obviously, this reflects his keen interest and dedication to his commitment of serving the community. We are, therefore, proud of having such a kind and diligent High Commissioner as we are proud of having a wonderful Consul General in Sydney Consulate Office who is doing a remarkable job in relation to providing services to community.
Despite the fact that this event is not being hosted by PAA, yet I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the High Commissioner H.E. Abdul Malik Abdullah here in Australia and hope that his stay will be productive not only for the two governments but also for the Australian – Pakistani community. We wish him all the best for his diplomatic tasks and missions and assure him all the community support in this context.
At the end,I would like to thanks Syed Zafar Hussain of Sada e Watan for updating the community of every news around the world. Right from the appointment of His Excellency Abdul Malik Abdullah as High Commissioner for Australia till his arrival at Sydney airport and then presentation of his credentials to the Governor General of Commonwealth of Australia, the community was kept well informed by Sada-e-Watan. Who knows where we would be without Sada e Watan.
