Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,
On Behalf of Pak Link Australia, I would like to thank all of our distinguished guests for sharing their precious time with us especially on a working day to attend this evening on this significant occasion when we are celebrating the 3rd anniversary of Pak Link magazine.
3 years back we were thinking of how we can serve the community in a better way; the feedback from the community was to start a community based magazine. We were delighted to accept the Community’s desire and started it with full devotion. It looks like a blink of an eye, but today we are 3 years old.
We on our part, in these 3 years, have tried our level best to live up to the Community’s expectations and to build the image of this magazine and we hope we have achieved somewhat in local as well as in ethnic community .Your presence here today gives us encouragement that we may have been able to deliver well, and I assure you that we will continue this mission and serve even better in the future.
Now, this success would not have been possible without the continuous support of our sponsors in issuing these publications. Most of the sponsors are sitting here, so I would to take this opportunity to thank them for their support and hope they will continue backing us in the future as well. Although, we have had to spend a large amount of money from our own sources to continue this magazine, it is only through the support and encouragement of our sponsors that we have managed to do so.I wish to thank them again.
Issuing a magazine is not a one man show, it requires a full dedicated team to work hard to achieve the desired results. I want to thank to my entire team because without their cooperation it would have not been possible for us to keep consistency in issuing these publications.
I would like to take the names of all team members who are contributing their time & efforts to make this magazine successful publication.

I would also like to mention the name of Hon Shaoquett Moselmane who raised his voice in the parliament house for the granting of financial support to ethnic media to help them survive in the market. I acknowledge his views and hope that the Government would make such a mechanism for our type of publishers who would benefit from such kind of financial support.
I would also like to acknowledge Sada- e-Watan online news magazine for its support throughout the 3 years of Pak Link magazine. So I commend the efforts and support of Mr.Zafar Hussain Shah.
Finally, the meaning of our slogan.Our slogan is LINKING COMMUNITIES TOGETHER.We have the goal to promote Multiculturism in this society and we have tried to bring closeness between the locals and ethnic groups.
