On the evening of Sunday - 16^th August 2025, – Meri Pehchan Pakistan Inc. proudly hosted its 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 to commemorate Pakistan’s 𝟕𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲. The grand celebration brought together community members, leaders, and dignitaries in a vibrant display of culture, unity, and pride.

The event was honoured by the distinguished presence of Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Qamar Zaman, Australian Senator David Shoebridge, Member of Parliament Nathan Hagarty, Deputy Mayor of Liverpool Peter Harley, Prof. Tala Yassine, and Prof. Rahat Munir.

This year’s event was particularly special as it marked the 𝟏𝟎-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐏𝐞𝐡𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧 (𝐌𝐏𝐏). To celebrate this achievement, 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 were presented to prominent supporters, sponsors, and dedicated team members who have contributed to MPP’s success over the past decade.

The event program featured a variety of engaging and inspiring activities, including:

* 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 – highlighting children’s knowledge of Pakistan’s history and national icons.

* 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 – introduced in 2024, offering a platform for young emerging talent to showcase their raw skills, build confidence, and take the first step toward their passions.

* 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 – recognizing outstanding achievements of Pakistani youth across 10 categories such as Academics, Sports, Leadership, and Performing Arts. Special thanks to 𝐂𝐨-𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐬. 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐲𝐞𝐝 for their exceptional work in making this initiative a success.

Continuing its tradition of giving back, this year’s event supported the 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 of 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐢 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚, helping provide access to education for underprivileged children in Pakistan.
