Australian Chief of Army Staff are Visiting Pakistan

Chief of Army Staff, Australia Lieutenant General Peter Leahy currently on an official visit to Pakistan Monday visited General Headquarters and met Vice Chief of Army Staff General Ahsan Saleem Hyat. He remained with him for some time and discussed matters pertaining to the professional interest.
Earlier on arrival at the General Headquarters the Australian Chief of Army Staff was presented guard of honour. He reviewed the parade and took salute from a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army.
Later, Australian Chief of Army Staff visited Corps Headquarters at Rawalpindi and met Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sallahud Din. Matters relating to the professional interest came under discussion. According to sources of Sada-e-Watan, the Australian Chief of Army Staff will also meet with Pakistan's Army Chief & President of Pakistan General Pervaiz Musharraf.
