Australian plane carrying quake relief goods Landed in Pakistan
 

An Australian plane carrying relief goods for earthquake victims landed at the Chaklala Airbase on the afternoon of Friday, 14th October 2005.The Australian plane carries Australian experts, four water filter plants and other relief equipment. The experts will install water filter plants in quake-hit Azad Kashmir territories. The plants were donated by Australia’s Village Foundation and SOS. According to Australian High Commissioner in Pakistan, the plane carried 60 tonnes relief goods and four water purification plants, which will provide 1, 30,000 litre clean water daily.
