Please re elect Minister David Borger for the seat of Granville Sydney

The Hon. David Lawrence Borger has represented the people of Parramatta and Granville Sydney since 1995. Before entering Parliament in 2007, David served as the Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Australia’s sixth largest CBD. At 30 years of age, Borger became the youngest person to hold the office of Lord Mayor of Parramatta City Council. Borger served as Lord Mayor for two terms (1999–2007).
Mr. David Borger was born in 1969 and he has been married to Giselle for ten years. They have two children Grace and Zoë. Since being elected in 2007, David also served as Chairman of the Public Works Committee.
On September 8th, 2008 David was sworn in as the Minister for Housing and the Minister for Western Sydney. And in May 2010 Premier Kristina Keneally appointed David as the Minister for Roads.
On Sunday 20th March, famous Businessman Mr. Ijaz Ahmed Director Security International Services hosted a dinner at his residence in the Honour of Minister David Borger. The dinner was held at Guildford Sydney and attended by prominent members of the local Pakistani Australian community. The catering was prepared by Khan Baba Restaurant Auburn Sydney
The President Pakistan Association of Australia Mr. Iftikhar Rana and Editor-in-Chief of Sada-e-Watan Syed Zafar Hussain appreciated the Great services of Minister David Borger and requests the local voters to re elect David Borger in the state elections of Saturday, 26th March 2011.

Profile
Granville is a western suburbs electorate generally south of the M4 motorway near Parramatta. It includes the suburbs of Granville, South Granville, Merrylands, Mays Hill and South Wentworthville.

42 year-old David Borger is a former Lord Mayor of Parramatta, first elected to the position in September 1999, the youngest person ever to hold the office. He served on the Council from 1995 to 2008, Borger has a background in urban planning, holds a Bachelor of Economics and was undertaking a Masters degree in Urban Design when elected to parliament. He had wanted to be the Labor candidate in Parramatta at the 2003 election but was denied by various factional manoeuvrings. Borger previously worked as an adviser to the NSW Planning Minister Andrew Refshauge. He was appointed to Cabinet by Nathan Rees as Minister for Housing and Western Sydney, and promoted to Minister for Roads in May 2010 in the re-shuffle brought about by David Campbell's resignation.

Another of Sydney's migrant electorates, Granville has the state's third highest proportion born in the Middle East (12.3%). By religion Granville has the eighth highest concentration of non-Christians (23.4%) and fourth highest proportion of people with Islamic faith (14.8%).
