Norwest Sydney hosts Bridal Information Evening

Norwest, Sydney, 24th March – The Crowne Plaza, Norwest, hosted a Bridal Information Evening in its Grand Ballroom having also launched there Indo Pak restaurant, It stands out the only 4.5 star Hotel to have the expertise to satisfy the need of the time. The Bridal Information Evening was a one stop shop for anything and everything one requires to organise a weeding. All the big names and the biggest brands in the business were vying with each other to catch the attention of the guests.
The exhibition opened at six o’ clock, Guests were greeted with snacks and drinks. The entrance to the grand ballroom was decorated with an arch lined with flowers and veils. The grand ballroom was decorated unmistakably for a traditional Indo / Pak wedding. There were Fairy Light Curtains which ran diagonally along the ceiling and fell around the stage and along the walls. These special curtains were light shaded curtains with wrapped around wired lighting, giving it a heavenly appeal. At the centre of the room was a parquetry dance floor, to give that elegant ballroom finish. At the front was the stage where the bride and the groom would sit to receive blessings from the guests. There was also a Gujarati Sankheta on the stage. It was an elegant seating for the bride and the groom. Also notable were the candle lighting and the floral designs around the room. Sheree Faux, weddings coordinator (to assist you to plan a perfect wedding explained,) “What is interesting about the set up is that it can be moulded to suit an Indian wedding or a western wedding.
A major chunk of the time while preparing for a wedding, goes into the selection of the bride’s and groom’s dresses. After all it is something they will treasure for the rest of their lives. Tarun Tahiliani, Rina Dhaka, Rabani & Rakha, Shivani, Deepika Geehani, Libas, Sabita Dhanrajgir, Ravi Bajaj, Menav Gangwani, Reva, Pallavi were some of the Designer clothes shown on the big screen.Although the variety, beauty, and uniqueness in each of her designs still made the choice equally hard, but atleast the collection made it a one stop shop when it came to dressing for the momentous occasion. Zena by Zaineb Alam from London, dresses were the ones straight out of every bride’s and equally every fashion designers dreams. The designs for the groom’s were fashion statements themselves, with a mix of culture and class oozing from them. Flawless style and voguish appeal were the highlights of all her designs as each of them truly drew out a certain joy, reflective of such an august event.
Different guests had different agendas as they walked about. Many of them were parents with a certain sparkle in their eyes, a mark of the pending excitement for one of the proudest days of their lives. Mrs Naidu, a registered nurse, said, ”I came over to check the prospective wedding arrangement for my three girls and one son.” Ester, an excited guest pointed out, ”There is just so much variety and colour to choose from!” Similar views were echoed by most parents. Also amongst the attendees were ‘to-be’ grooms and brides. They were excitedly checking out every last little detail for their impending big day. There were also a certain few who just came along to see the current trends. Roshani explained, “I am already married. What I am here for is to simply check out the current fashion, that is, what’s in and what not.” “I just came here to be abreast with the current trends and also, partly for future planning”, said Sonam, an IT professional.
