Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney Mr. Azam Mohammed hosts a Lunch for the Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan His Excellency Mr.Timothy George
The High Commissioner of Australia for Pakistan His Excellency Mr. Tim George is visiting his home country. On Thursday 3rd February 2011 in Sydney, Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney Mr. Azam Mohammed hosted a lunch in his Honour. Mr Azam Mohammed welcome him and appreciates his Great role for promoting Pak Australia Friendship. Pakistan CG & Australian HC discussed bilateral relations particularly further promoting trade and investment between the two friendly countries. The talks also focused on recent developments for promotion of trade, the setting up of Pakistan Australia business council in Pakistan, the likely exchange of trade and investment related and other delegations in the near future.
The Consul General thanked the High Commissioner for the support received from Australia for the flood and also expressed sympathy for devastation caused by the tragic floods and informed him of the activities undertaken by the Pakistani community and Australians of Pakistan origin’s efforts to mobilize support and donation for the flood affected persons in Australia. The High Commissioner appreciated the role of the community. The CG Mr. Azam also informed him of the recent activities of the Pakistan Association of Australia including their latest initiative for mobilizing funds for the Australian flood affected persons planned for 6th Feb 2011 in Sydney.
