Chelum of Shuhada-e-Karbala Majalis at MWA Sydney

Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala (AS) will be commemorated at MWA Centre, Sydney on Sunday, 15 Feb 2009 and Monday, 16 Feb 2009. The MWA Executive Committee has informed Sada-e-Watan that the Chelum program is spread over two days, this year. On Sunday, 15 Feb 2009, the program will begin at 07:00PM sharp and will be concluded by Maghreb prayers whereas main Chelum Majalis on Monday, 16 Feb 2009 will begin at 08:30 PM sharp. Because of the Chelum falling on working days, program timings will be strictly followed, told Dr. Abbas Rizvi, Secretary of the MWA. The Executive Committee has requested the Momineen to cooperate with respect to following the times as planned.

Chelum of Shuhada-e-Karbala Majalis at Imam Hasan Centre

Monday 16th February 2009–Chelum/Arbaeen Night
On Monday 16th February at 8.00 PM commencing with Salaat, we will be commemorating the 40th / Chelum of Shuhada-e-Karbala. Majalis will be recited by Maulana Idris-ul-Hasan from Pakistan

Tuesday 17th February 2009– Chelhum/Arbaeen DAY
Chelum day will be commemorated on Tuesday the 17th of February at 6.00 PM. There will be a separate Majalis for ladies at 6pm. Maulana Idris-ul-Hasan from Pakistan will be reciting the Majalis from Chelum to the Prophets Wafat. Ziyaraat of Arbaeen will be recited at 6.00 PM.
