Official Inaugural Ceremony of CitiLink Finance
Inauguration Ceremony for Citilink Finance was held on Friday,17 th August, 2007
in their office at 32 Martin Place Sydney. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Rai
Hassan Nawaz, District Nazim Sahiwal ,Mr. Azam Mohammed, Consul General of
Pakistan, Mr. Asghar Waheed Dogar, Member Provincial Assembly of Punjab, Mr.
Jaffer Nadeem, General Manager PIA Australia, Mr. Ejaz Khan, President Pakistan
Association of Australia and many other dignitaries of Sydney. Rai Hassan Nawaz
& Asghar Nadeem Dogar MPA, came all the way from Pakistan to attend the ceremony
and Pakistan Independence Day function arranged by PAA.
Mr. Muhammad Asif, who has been Head of Habib Finance for last many years
welcome the guests in his new capacity as Chief Executive Officer / Director of
the company. The ribbon was cut by Mr. Rai Hassan Nawaz & Mr. Azam Mohammed
jointly in front of all the guests to formally inaugurate the company. After
inauguration all guests greeted Mr. Muhammad Asif & its team on the occasion.
Mr. Muhammad Asif delivered a speech and informed the audience that the office
contact Phone & Fax numbers and Bank account details are the same. Their client
numbers will remain the same and there is no need to register with Citilink
Finance if the customer was dealing with Habib Finance. Citilink will be using
the same official channel through Habib Bank network to send money to Pakistan.
He informed that Competitive niche financial products and services soon to be
offered by Citilink Finance with high levels of customer service and personal
attention to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
In the end of speech Mr. Asif announced one "UMRA Ticket" for those remitters
who will send remittances through Citilink Finance during the period of 20th
August to 31st December 2007.Their name will be automatically included in the
draw to be held in Pakistan association function in the first quarter of the
next year. He urged all the Pakistani's to send the money through official
channel to earn exchange for the country and avoid all those people who are
sending remittances over the phone using "HUNDI METHOD".
In the end he delivered a slogan "SUPPORT CITILINK & SUPPORT PAKISTAN". The
dinner was served followed by the speech in Surjit Restaurant Sydney which was
enjoyed by all the guests.
