      Consul General Azam Mohammed Hosts a Dinner for Deputy SpeakerFaisal Karim Kundi

On the Evening of the Thursday 20th May 2010, the Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney Mr. Azam Mohammed hosts a dinner at Ottoman Restaurant, The Rocks Sydney. The Consul General’s dinner was in the Honour of the visiting deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi.
The High Commissioner of Pakistan H.E.Fauzia Nasreen,Counsellor Hamid Asghar, Country Manager Pakistan International Airlines Mr. Nadeem Jaffer, Top Level Businessman, Leading Journalists and Famous Representatives of the Australian Pakistani Community attended the Dinner. Chief Guest Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi talk about the Pakistan –Australia Friendship, current political situation of Pakistan and Army operations against terrorism in Swat and Waziristan.
Talking to Pakistani expatriates, the Deputy Speaker Mr. Kundi said that they are true Ambassador of Pakistan in their own rights and they should work hard for development and prosperity of Australia. He also stressed upon the Pakistanis to portray soft image of Pakistan. He said that all the state institutions in Pakistan are working in their ambit, judiciary is independent, opposition in the Parliament is vibrant and playing a positive role. Mr Faisal Karim Kundi further said that Parliament of Pakistan has done record legislation during last two years besides passage of 18th Amendment and a unanimous resolution in support of army operation against terrorist in Swat and Waziristan. On the suggestion of the Editor-in-Chief Sada-e-Watan,Mr Faisal Karim Kundi promised that if I will come again to Australian, then I will also visit Melbourne, Perth and other Australian cities and meet Local Pak-Aust Community.
