H.E. Jalil Abbas Jilani presented his credentials to the President of Fiji
Mr. Jalil Abbas Jilani, High Commissioner for Pakistan to Australia presented his credentials as Non-Resident High Commissioner to Fiji Islands to Mr. Ratu Josefa Iloilovatu Uluivuda, President of the Republic of Fiji Islands on 23 October 2007. The High Commissioner conveyed best wishes of the President of Pakistan to the President of Fiji. The Fijian President expressed his gratitude for technical assistance that Pakistan has been providing to Fiji.
The High Commissioner also called on Prime Minister of Fiji Commodore Frank Voreqe Bainimarama, Foreign Minister Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Mr. Ross Ligairi, Permanent Secretary for Public Service Commission Mrs. Taina Tagicakibau, Dr. Noor Bano Ali, President, Fijian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Lailun Khan, Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Trade and Investment Board, Suva Muslim College and exchanged matters of mutual interest.
