Chairman of Darulfatwa, Dr. Sheikh Salim Alwan Al-Husainiyy
Darulfatwa the Islamic High Council of Australia is proud to announce the success of yet another annual Ramadan Dinner. In support of goodness, prosperity and unity, Darulfatwa offered a delightful meal for over 300 attendees. Joining the tenth annual dinner was special guest and reciter of the Holy Qur’an, his eminence Sheikh Samir Dabliz from the Azhar University.
Those present were mesmerised by an enlightening recitation from the special guest followed by an insightful and informative speech by the Chairman of Darulfatwa, Dr. Sheikh Salim Alwan Al-Husainiyy who welcomed the attendees and mentioned that the month of Ramadan is a month of repentance, mercy, goodness, and blessings. His eminence advised that “unity, guiding people to the right path and opposing extremism is a way to a safer community.” Prior to concluding his speech with a supplication, the Chairman mentioned the saying of Prophet Muhammad that “the believer will not reach a high level in Islam, unless he loves for Muslims and non-Muslims what he loves for himself, from among the goodness.”
Following this segment of the night was the presentation of certificates among other beneficial items to numerous students and graduates of the course held by Darulfatwa.
In acknowledging the efforts of these graduates, MP of Liverpool , Mr. Paul Lynch, congratulated them and expressed his gratitude towards Darulfatwa. The Hon.
