Famous Islamic Scholar of Iran Dr. Abbas Ali Shameli is Coming on Australia Visit

On the invitation of Imam Husain Islamic Centre, the world known Islamic Scholar Dr. Abbas Ali Shameli is coming from Iran to Australia. He will be Guest Speaker in Sydney at Orion Function Centre 155 Beamish Street Sydney. He will delivering regular Lectures from Friday 5th Feb – Fri 12th Feb in Campsie. The programme will start at 8pm daily. Dr. Abbas Ali Shameli will speak at Imam Husain Islamic centre Earlwood Sydney on Sat 13 Feb, Sun 14 Feb and Monday 15 Feb 2010.

  Dr Abbas Ali Shameli

Dr Abbas Ali Shameli was born in Shahreza, a small town westward of beautiful Isfahan, a central province in the Islamic Republic of Iran.He has obtained his PhD in philosophy of education from McGill university located in Montreal, Canada.He has also prior to PhD gotten his M.A in philosophical psychology and the second one in developmental psychology.Completed Advanced studies in Fiqh, Usul, Philosophy and Qur'an Exegesis Many researches and publications including 

 1. Co-author of Developmental Psychology: An Islamic Approach. SAMT Organization, 1993. (university textbook).

2.  22 term papers in English (1992-1999) – some published and presented in conferences

3.      "Ibn Sina's Proof of the Necessarily existent Being". Proofs for the Existence of God: Contexes- Structures-Relevence. Iup. Innsbruck University Press. 2008.

                   Teaching Experience

 10 Years at various university levels in fiqh, usual, philosophy, theology, developmental psychology lectures inside and outside Iran: English and Persian among Muslim communities, particularly at the Islamic Centre of England Islamic Jurisprudence at the Islamic College for Advanced Studies UK. He is a teacher in  Islamic theology, jurisprudence, philosophy, moral values, mysticism, and gender issues in Islam.
