Prominent Personality of Australian/ Pakistani Community & Advisor of the Sada-e-Watan Sydney Dr. Akram Hassan’s Elder Brother Dr. Amjad Hassan passed away on Friday, 18th February 2011. He died at his home Muslim Town Lahore. In last 35 years, Dr. Amjad many times came to Australia for family visit and he was very popular in the Pak community of Sydney.
The Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney Mr. Azam Mohammed, Area Manager PIA Mr. Nadeem Jaffer, Editor-in-Chief Sada-e-Watan Syed Zafar Hussain, the former President Pakistan Association of Australia Solicitor Ejaz Khan, Elected President of PAA Mr. Iftikhar Rana and all other friends expressed their profound grief on the sad demise of Dr. Amjad Hassan. In a condolence Message through Sada-e-Watan Friends sympathized with the family members of the deceased and offered ‘Fatiha’ for the departed soul. The Editorial Board of Sada-e-Watan Prayed to ALLAH Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to his family members to bear this irrepairable loss.
Quran Khawani and Dua for Dr. Amjad Hassan will be held in Sydney at the residence of Dr. Akram Hassan. The Quran Khawani for the Departed Souls will be on Sunday 27th February 2011 From 10:30am to 1pm before Namaz-e-Zuhr. All Friends are request to attend.
