Renowned Urdu poet Iftikhar Nasim Ifti died in Chicago on Sat, 23rd July 2011.Ifti was a gifted artist, an inspired activist, a successful businessman, and a best poet and nice friend.Ifti was born in Faisalabad Pakistan and Living in the U.S since more than 30 years.Ifti was regular columnist of Daily Ravi International Newyork.Ifti was regular reader of the Sada-e-Watan Sydney.He called Syed Zafar Hussain just last Thursday morning and jokes about female friends & Mullahs.

Ifti Nasim committed his life to writing, and has performed and published poetry in English, Urdu and Punjabi. As a famous Poet, he visited all over the world. In October 2007, on the invitation of Urdu Society of Australia, poet Iftikhar Nasim Ifti came to Sydney Australia for participates in International Mushaira.
