Pakistan’s Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting Syed Sumsam Ali Shah Bukhari Visits Dubbo and Nyngan

On the invitation of
Pakistan’s Vibrant community in Dubbo and Nyngan, Syed Sumsam Ali Shah Bukhari
Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Government of Pakistan
visited the region on 10th and 11th of May 2009. Accompanying him was the CEO of
Money Transfer Pty Ltd. Mr. Muhammad Ali Bukhari. The notables of Pakistani
community led by Mr. Khawar Javed Qurashi warmly received the honorable
Minister. After a brief stay in Dubbo the honorable Minister headed to Bourke,
around 400 kilometers from Dubbo. He visited a live stock form of Mr. Ross and
discussed with him the live stock and dairy development issue of Pakistan; he
also invited the Farmer’s community of the region to invest in the live stock
sector of Pakistan and assured them full support on behalf of Government of
Pakistan. In Bourke he also visited the graveyard and paid homage to Muslim
Camel drivers of Camel train running between Darwin and Adelaide during 19th and
20th century. He also visited the grave of great Australian opthologists Dr.
Fred Hollow and applauded his services to for humanity particularly poor
children’s of Pakistan and third world.
In Nyngan he visited the Abattoir of Khawar Javed Qurashi. This is the only
Abattoir in whole Australia which is owned by a Muslim and Pakistani. He
returned to Sydney in the evening of 11th May. Sada-e-Watan Sydney is including
