PAA represents Pakistan’s community at Royal Easter Show
Pakistan Australia
Association (PAA) will be an active partner in setting up an information stall
with regard to Pakistan at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. The stall will be a
part of a “Did you know?” exhibition being organised by Community Relations
Commission NSW. The exhibition will open to the general public on Sunday 15th
April 2007, from 9am to 10pm at the Royal Easter Show at Sydney Olympic Park.
President (PAA) Ejaz Khan has collaborated with all the stakeholders including
the Pakistan High Commission in Sydney to ensure that Pakistan representation at
the exhibition. While commenting on the event Ejaz Khan said, “Active
participation in these events provides us an opportunity to build a positive
image of our country and community in Australia.”
He said, “Through such exhibitions the local communities get understanding of
Pakistan and its people.”
“Such event,” Ejaz added, “Help fight the negative image which are sometimes
being portrayed in the media with regard to Pakistan and its people.”
PAA president said, “Pakistanis are peace-loving and progress oriented people
who have been making valuable contributions towards the prosperity Australia.”
