Hanif Muqaddam Hosts a Reception for Famous Australian Politician Ed Husie
ALP officially endorsed Mr.Ed Husic as its candidate for Chifley at this year's federal election. Retiring Labor MP Roger Price who has held the seat since 1984, welcomed his preselecting.
Its an absolute honour to represent the Australian Labor Party in our area as candidate for Chifley Sydney and if elected, I want to be a strong local voice, Mr Husic said. He also said he believed that there are a number of issues that will demand attention at the next election and beyond including health and education.
Im proud to have grown up, lived and worked locally. As a resident, I have first hand knowledge of the issues affecting families here. Mr Husic said.
My approach is to be open and consultative: Ive spent my working life bringing people together. Id like residents to see me as a local they can talk to candidly and openly. I want them to feel they can raise their concerns and ideas with their local representative and that their representative will work hard to ensure their views are heard and acted on.
Mr. Hanif Muqaddam, president of PPP Australia has organised a reception at his residence (Mt. Druitt) in honour of Candidate of ALP for Federal Parliament. Chief Gust Mr. ED HUSIC & Large number of selected people from Pakistani community especially those belonging to CHIFLEY constituency has attended the party.
Mr. Ed Husic, in his speech, has introduced himself and told the community of his future plans for community welfare. People were pleased to know that Mr.ED Husic belongs to an honourable Muslim family of Bosnia. The host of the party Mr. M. Hanif Muqaddam has assured his full support to Mr. Husic in next election.
Mr. Iftikhar Rana President of Pakistan Association of Australia and Mr.Ejaz Khan President of Harris Park Chamber of Business and Community have also attended the party and promised their support for Mr. ED HUSIC in election campaign. Mr. Ashraf Chohan Secretary PPP Australia, Mirza Nadeem Beg Treasurer PPP Australia, Mr. Sarwar Sial, Alhaj Zahid Ch, Irfan Wallayat, Ch Javed Khalid, Ch Javed UC Store, Tariq Shehzad, Abdul Hameed, Ejaz Ch,Herish Velt, Irfan Muqaddam, Khuram Rehman Muqaddam, and Ali khan Muqaddqm were also present at this occasion.
