Mohammed Ehtesham Nidvi was born in LUCKNOW India. He was Professor at Aligarh Muslim University. He is among the Urdu writers who gave literature a different approach in criticism and introduced new taste in poetry. He is great intellectual and his contributions in the fields of poetry, criticism, editing and writings regarding different modern critical theories specially structuralism is considered an asset. His writing covers diverse topics but literature has always been his main interest.
Mohammed Ehtesham Nidvi also wrote more than 50 books on a wide range of topics. His 16 books already published from India. They are collections of poetry, collections of essays, criticism and research. He is well known in International media. He is one of India's famous writers who wrote famous Urdu story writer (afsana nigar) and novelist. He regularly delivers lectures on current topics to guide the community.
Famous Pakistani dignity & Councilor of Liverpool Council Mr. Abbas Gillani arranged a literary evening & dinner with well known educationist and Poet Mohammed Ehtesham Nidvi at his residence Casula Sydney on Sat, 26th March 2011.The event presented by Urdu Society of Australia and attended by local famous Urdu Literary personalities.
The Host appreciated efforts of the leading Indian Drama Writers &, Author of number of famous Urdu language books Mr. Ehtesham Nidvi who is on family visit of Australia. Mohammed Ehtesham Nidvi was honoured by the leading literary organizations and awarded the Medal of Excellence in Literature by the internationally known Govt and non Govt institutes. Mohammed Ehtesham Nidviis also writing about the Afsana Nigari of Syed Ghulam Abbas Gillani.
Dr. Kausar Jamal and others paid rich tributes to the Mohammed Ehtesham Nidvi and at the end there was Musharria of Urdu and Punjabi which was recites by Arshad Saeed, Kausar Jamal, Zafar Iqbal, Abbas Gillani, Shuja Atif and others.
