MWA Celebrated Eid-e-Zahra & Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi

Muhammadi Welfare Association Inc
celebrated Eid-e-Zahra and Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi. The ceremony of Eid-e-Zahra was
held in Bankstown Girls High School. Muslims from different ethnic background
participated in the celebration. In particular the representatives of Imam Hasan
Islamic Centre, Al-mabarat Benevolent Society, Ahlulbait Islamic Society,
Almoustafa Islamic society, Althakleen League, Imam Sajjad Foundation, Shiite
Islamic Council, and West Sydney Shia Association were actively involved in all
the activities of the celebrations.
After various individual activities, the day started with Zohrain prayer,
followed by a delicious lunch sponsored by Rajani catering. The manager of the
cricket Abu Zar Zaidi professionally organized two teams, team A and team B lead
by Ahmed Ibrar Sherazi and Imran Naziri respectively. Team A had defeated team
B. Syed Amir Naqvi of team A was declared man of the match. MWA trophy was
handed over to him by Sheikh Abu Sajjad.
The association as well celebrated Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi in its Centre at 419
Blaxcell Street Granville south on Friday 6th of April. After
Salat-ul-Maghrabain , Zakir Asad Ali recited a famous Qasida followed by a
speech by Alhaj Maqbool Asghar. The food was organized by Dr Kazim I. Rizvi and
his family.
