Eid Milan Function at Ryde Civic Centre Sydney on Sep 12
Thanks to Allah (SWT) who provided us his blessed month of Ramadan so that He gives us abundant reward of our small efforts and our struggle for obeying him becomes easy on us. I am sure all of us are taking full benefit of this opportunity and are striving for their best to do as many good deeds as possible. May Allah accept our sincere efforts and forgive our shortcomings.
As we are approaching the end of Ramadan, Omar Mosque Auburn Community is happy to announce an Eid Milan function on Sunday Sep 12, 2010. This get-together is not only to celebrate the happy occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr but also to remember the devastation our brothers and sisters are facing in Pakistan due to flood. While we and our children enjoy all the Food, Clothing, Shelter, Education, Social events, there are 2 million people in Pakistan who are deprived of most of these essentials of life. In this Eid function, we will celebrate Eid and at the same time open our hearts in helping the flood victims in Pakistan.
Needless to say that this Eid function is not from any organisation or group affiliated to any organisation. Brothers and sisters from all school of thoughts are encouraged to join. Please join us with your families. There has been sponsorship provided for this function by some businesses as a gesture of their support for the community. Any contributions collected during this function will be donated for Pakistan flood victims.

Venue: Ryde Civic Centre (1 Devlin St, Ryde Sydney)
Time: 6:30 pm
Special Guests: Acting Council General of Pakistan Hamid Asghar Khan & President Pakistan Association of Australia Mr. Iftikhar Rana
Entry Fee: * $10 for each person *
* $5 for children aged 3-5 years *
* Free for children under 3 years *
Note: Prayer arrangements are available at the venue.
In order to make appropriate arrangements, you are requested to please confirm your participation by Sunday Sep 5, 2010 by calling one the three Brothers as follows. You are also requested to finalise your contribution amount with these brothers before this date. Because of limited number of seats and catering arrangements for dinner, any confirmation after 5th Sep, will be very difficult to accommodate.
