EID MILAN PARTY at Top Ryde Civic Centre Sydney
Following the tradition of celebrating Eid Milan Party every year, Omar mosque community group had organised yet again another spectacular Eid Milan Party for Pakistani families at the Top Ryde Civic Centre Sydney, comprising of approximately 400 people. This remarkable event had many activities and achievements achieved by Pakistani families that took place at the event to engage the audience as well as to express some valuable information out to the community.

The program was commenced by the announcement by the program organizer, Zia-Ur-Rahman khan who invited our very well-known stage sectary- Sadiq Arif to host the program. The program, was commenced by the recitation of the Quran by Molana NazeerUl Hassan Thanvi, and then followed by some Islamic talks related to Eid by the following scholars: Dr. Ahsan Zafrullah, Dr.Shabbir Ahmed and Dr Muhammad Anas Nidvi.
Special guests were also present, the Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney Mr.Azam Mohammed and the President of Pakistan Association of Australia Mr.Iftikhar Rana who thanked the organising team for inviting them to this event and appreciated their hard work in putting this event together. They also acknowledged the achievements and performances that were highlighted by some of our Pakistani children.
A proud identity, Zarial Cheema had developed a new software for the transport industry which was not just recognised in Australia but mostly around the world, where America had also acknowledged the great work by Zarial Cheema. This was followed by two great little Pakistani personalities, Ansar Iqbal and Mohammad Yasin, who had memorised the Holy Quran at the age of under 12 years , they recited parts of the Quran which was breath taking.
Lastly, a marvellous Islamic nasheed “My Mother” was presented by a 9 year old girl Aqsa Iqbal. These outstanding performances were accredited byAzam Mohammed and Iftikhar Rana who presented the trophy to the children which was organised by the Omar mosque team.
The host had then invited the program organiser Zia-ur- Rahman khan to conclude the program by acknowledging the guests and families that had attended this program. He had also particularly recognised the hard work the Omar mosque team had put in order to organise this event. He especially thanked Ch. Anwar Shad who contributed a lot of his time and effort to help out in this program.
Mr. Sadiq Arif was also acknowledged for hosting the program in a professional manner. He gladly thanked the sponsors who contributed to this event, which allowed this spectacular event to successfully run.
The program was wrapped-up by a emotional Dua by Dr. Ahsan Zafrullah. Dinner was catered by Himalayas Restaurant, which presented delicious, mouth-watering food for the families who greatly enjoyed the meal.
