24 September 2015

I would like to convey, on behalf of the High Commission for Pakistan and on my own behalf, our cordial greetings and Eid Mubarak to all Pakistanis living in Australia and Fiji on the happy occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. Celebrations of Eid-ul-Azha is a good time to reinforce our dedication to good human values, purifying our souls to become good Muslims and not forget those who are less fortunate and need  help.

On Eid-ul-Azha we must reaffirm the spirit of sacrifice and reiterate our pledge to stand together as one nation.  Let us resolve to demonstrate the unity and courage and ability to contribute with sincerity towards overcoming the challenges faced by our beloved homeland Pakistan and to make it a cradle of peace, stability and prosperity.

May Allah (SWT) bless us with the fortitude to fulfil our obligations both Haqooq Allah and in Haqooqul Ibad.
