Sydney, 26 August 2005: Yesterday Sada-e-Watan Sydney published the memories of Mrs. Farzana Nawaz who is the Wife of Dr. Nawaz Khan of Newcastle NSW Australia. She is the younger Sister of Former Federal Minister & Senator Malik Faridullah Khan.
The Govt of Pakistan today announced Hilal-e-Imtiaz for Malik Farid Shaheed. As a schedule, Government was planing to announce Hilal-e-Imtiaz on 23rd March 2006 next year but Malik Farad's elder Son Tamour Khan is preparing to go to London for higher studies, so General Musharraf Specially & Kindly announced today Hilal-e-Imtiaz for Farid Khan. Mr. Farid Khan Shaheed was a close friend of Editor-in-Chief Sada-e-Watan: Syed Zafar Hussain.

President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf has conferred Hilal-e-Imtiaz on Former Federal Minister Senator and Prominent Tribal Leader Malik Faridullah Khan in recognition of his meritorious services for the cause of peace in South Waziristan Agency. To perpetuate his memories, Corps Commander Lieutenant General Safdar Hussain has also named some development project in agency. The Road constructed by Pakistan Army Engineers leading from Shakai to Inzar and Wana has been named as Faridullah Shaheed Road whereas the proposed Army Public School has been renamed as Faridullah Khan Shaheed Army Public School. It has also been decided to hold Annual Mela in his name on every Pakistan's Independence Day.
