Fund raising in New Zealand for the Flood Victims of Pakistan
His Excellency Syed Ibne Abbas High Commissioner of Pakistan in New Zealand along with President Pakistan Association of New Zealand launched an appeal for Fund raising. The Government of New Zealand has announced an Aid of 2 million dollars for the flood victims.
Local Pakistanis have raised 20 Thousand Dollars in one week. Prime Minister of New Zealand John Key also appealed for fund raising at The Indian Independence day function and Indian associations have already started raising money for the noble cause. The President PANZ Mr Tauqir Khan thanked the Prime Minister, Pakistani Community and The Indian and Sikh Societies for their generous help. He also thanked them for their continuous mutual cooperation.
