My dear Zafar,
How are you & family? How is your Brother Javed? When I was Ambassdor in Kuwait,
Javed & Shafqat Hussain kept in touch with me but you settled in Australia. Now
Javed is also with you in Sydney. I still remember August 1980 when you came to
Kuwait from Lahore and served Pakistani community through Urdu journalism.
Sada-e-Watan is very popular all over the world and also here in Canada. You are
doing a great job for overseas Pakistanis.
I read in Sada-e-Watan news about the wedding of Noshi Gilani with a poet from
Sydney. I've known Noshi quite well and participated in several Mushairas with
her in U.S. and Canada. She had her abode in the Bay Area of San Francisco,
until finding a new niche for herself in your city, Sydney.
Pl. convey her and her new groom my greetings when they get back to Sydney from
their honeymoon. I've also composed a Rubai for her and Saeed in the last couple
of minutes, which you may, if you like, also publish in your newspaper
Sada-e-Watan.
