Famous Scholar Allama Gulfam Hussain Hashmi has arrived in Australia
Muhammadi Welfare Association will be commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Jaffar-e-Sadiq (AS) with a 5-day program at the MWA Centre Granville Sydney, starting Thursday the 30 Sep 2010. Famous Islamic Scholar Allama Gulfam Hussain Hashmi for this event specially arrived in Sydney from Multan .
Allama Gulfam Hussain Hashmi is world renowned scholar and needs no introduction. Still in one sentence, MWA will say that a boy who started majalis as young as 7 years of age has gone on and on for over 50 years and in becoming presumably among the greatest Urdu Majlis reciters also completed his religious studies from Qum.This boy from 50 years back is no other than Allama Gulfam Hussain Hashmi who will be speaking at MWA Centre on Sep 30 and Oct 1,2,3,4 of 2010. In all probability, we have not got an Alim and Speaker of his stature before at MWA and it will be a one-off opportunity to be so close to a man of his calibre and even better, to listen to his speeches.
