Lt.Gen Shahid Hamid met with President Musharraf in Rawalpindi

Pervez Musharraf acknowledged the role of Federal Public Service Commission for
inducting talented people to federal government departments through a rigorous
and merit-oriented examination process.Talking to Chairman Federal Public Service Commission Lt.Gen (Retired) Shahid
Hamid who called on him at Rawalpindi and presented him the Annual Report for
the years 2004-05, the President appreciated the system being followed by the
Commission for recruitment in the central superior services.
The chairman FPSC briefed the President about the salient features of the report
and working of the commission. The Chairman FPSC General Shahid Hamid also
report about his recent visit of Australia and discuss with President Musharraf
the best civil services system of Australia.
