Hazara Community is organizing protest Rally front of Pakistan High Commission Canberra
The members of Hazara community, all over Australia are organizing a big protest rally in Canberra infront of Pakistan High Commission on this Tuesday 3rd Feb 2009 from 11:30-1:30 against current law & order in Pakistan and Terrorist Killing of innocent people. Mr. Imran Ali, Committee member of Hazara cultural centre, Queensland contacted Sada-e-Watan and also emailed Media Release regarding recent killing in Quetta Pakistan the famous Hazara Political Leader Hussain Ali Yousafi.

The Hazara Community in Australia strongly condemn the continuing target killings of Hazaras in Quetta City of Pakistan by the Taliban and Al Qaida backed religious extremists, Lashker - Jhangavi (declared terrorist) who have openly accepted responsibility for the killing of Hazara Political leader Hussain Ali Yousafi early this week.
These extremists in their latest string of terrorist acts have killed 12 innocent people from Hazara community in Quetta in just 20 days. They have been committing terrorist acts for several decades in Pakistan with impunity. This terrorist group could not have continued with their terrorist activities for so long without the support and protection of some official elements in the government who are sympathetic and secretly supportive of the cause of Talibanisation.
We therefore, appeal to the Australian Government and the peace loving people of the world to apply diplomatic, political and every other means of pressure on the Government of Pakistan to bring these terrorists to swift justice. We also demand from the Government of Pakistan to investigate and bring to justice the section of the government which gives support and protection to the terrorist organizations in the country.
We also appeal to the Australian Government to guarantee its support to protect innocent Hazaras fleeing for their lives from Afghanistan and Talibanised Pakistan.
We the Hazara Community in Australia have organized a peaceful protest in front of Pakistan High Commission in Canberra on Tuesday 3rd of February 2009 to show our support to the victims of latest terrorist attacks in Quetta Pakistan. And demand the international community specially Australian Government to provide protection to Hazara Refugees. We also demand from the international community to put pressure on Pakistan Government to take immediate and transparent measures to bring all those responsible to justice.
Hussain Ali Yousafi
Hussain Ali Yousafi renowned politician in Balochistan was Chairman Hazara Democratic Party and Intellectual of Pakistan born 1958.He wrote many Hazaragi Dramas. He was poet of Hazaragi Language, Yousafi had directed many Hazaragi Stage Dramas and performed as Actor too.He has big and unique record in Hazaragi Drama being writer of 25 Dramas and Stage plays.His popular Dramas in Hazaragi are Aazra Boz Kashi Shoda, Mainder e Khantoma, Aalkhato, master Albong and Sar e Kotal. Yousafi was elected two times in his student life as President of Hazara Students Federation (HSF).He got his masters degree in commerce from University of Balochistan Quetta in 1985.His performance in Radio Pakistan Quetta in Hazaragi time as Peiwand Lalai known as best Radio show of Radio history of Hazaras. Hussain Ali Yousafi was shot dead by the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi extremist group in the Pakistani city of Quetta on 26th January 2009.Martyrdom of Hussain Ali Yousafi is shocking not only for Hazaras but it is also shocked Pakistan. This is considering a great loss for Hazaras through out the world after martyrdom of Abdul Ali Mazari who killed by Taliban in Afghanistan in 1995.Hussain Ali Yousafi was working for peace and humanity in his Social and political time period of thirty years.
