H.E. Fauzia Nasreen Attended a Fundraising Dinner in Gold Coast,Brisbane
The High Commissioner of Pakistan H.E. Ms. Fauzia Nasreen was invited as a Chief Guest in a Charity Evening at Gold Coast which was organized by The Journey of Hope for Children – coordinated by Mr. Rahim Zullah on Saturday, 29th May 2010. The funds collected were for Central Asia Institute. The Institute has been founded by Mr. Greg Mortensen who was given Pakistan’s highest civil award, Sitara-e-Pakistan in 2009 for his dedicated and humanitarian efforts to promote education and literacy in remote areas of Pakistan for fifteen years.
The Function was well attended which demonstrated the spirit of sharing and caring among different nationalities including a wider number of members of Pakistani-Australian community.
