Pakistan’s new High Commissioner Irfan Shaukat arrives in Australia

On Wednesday, 1st October 2025, the New High Commissioner of Pakistan His Excellency Irfan Shaukat arrived in Australia. He was Welcome at Sydney airport by The Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Qamar Zaman, Mrs Muniba Qamar Zaman and Deputy Consul General Saima Jamil. After short stay in Sydney, the High Commissioner Irfan Shaukat arrived at Canberra where he was received by senior officials of Australia ‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officials from the High Commission of Pakistan Canberra.

Mr. Irfan Shaukat is a career diplomat. He joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1998.On behalf of the Australian Pakistani Community and Editorial Board of Sada-e-Watan Sydney, We Welcome New High Commissioner Irfan Shaukat and family. We are sure, he will keep close contact with Community and work hard for promoting Pak Australia friendship.
