Fauzia Nasreen Hosts a Reception at Pakistan House for Mr.Faisal Karim Kundi
Mr.Faisal Karim Kundi,Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan is on one week official visit of Australia from Tuesday. During his visit to Australia he meets in Canberra with Speaker and Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Chairman Senate and Chairmen of different Committees, PAC including Foreign Affairs, Defence Trade, Finance and Public administration. The High Commissioner of Pakistan Fauzia Nasreen & Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Taswar Khan was also present during these important meetings.
On the evening of Tuesday 25th May, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi delivered a speech at the Australian National University’s Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies on “Challenges to Democracy in Pakistan, government military and the rise of Islamism”. On the evening of Wednesday, 26th May, The High Commissioner of Pakistan Fauzia Nasreen hosts a Reception at Pakistan House Canberra in the Honour of the visiting Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi. A large number of Pak Australian community attended the Reception and talk with Mr. Kundi about the current political situation of Pakistan.
The Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi will also meet with the DG of AUS-AID. AUS-AID supporting Pakistan in various projects in different sectors of economy and welfare. He will also deliver speech to Pakistani community residing in Australia. The Deputy Speaker will meet with the Australia Asia young leadership forum and Anthony Bubalo from the Lowy Institute. It is a very influential think tank in Australia.
