$92 000 Collected at a Fundraising Dinner in Sydney

The Imam Husain Islamic Centre held its second annual fundraising dinner on Monday 28 August 2006 at Earlwood Sydney. A three course meal was provided. The price for a business seat was $1000 which enabled two seats and for an individual the price was $100 which enabled one seat. A total of $92, 000 ( Ninety Two Thousand Dollars) was gathered from the fundraising dinner. Chief Organizer of the Function Dr. Mansour Leghai, informed Sada-e-Watan that over double this amount was collected as a donation. All the proceeds will go towards the project of the expansion of the Islamic centre.
