India A Defeated Pakistan A in Darwin

India A notched a 130-run win over Pakistan A in their one-day Top End series cricket match in Darwin on the 6th of July 2006. After scoring 3 for 313 from their 50 overs, India bowled out Pakistan for 183 in the 40th over. Rafatullah Mohmand top-scored for Pakistan with 84. India's Piyush Chawla finished with bowling figures of 3 for 34.
Earlier, opener Gautam Gambhir smashed an unbeaten 142 as India posted its massive total. His 147-run stand with fellow opener Robin Uthappa set up India's innings. Rohit Sharma also chipped in with a quick-fire 47 from 63 balls. Mohammad Irshad and Mansoor Amjad took a wicket each for Pakistan A.
