Fatehullah Butt & Iqra Academy held a Husn-e-Qiraat Quran Competition at Rooty Hill Islamic Centre Sydney
Mr.Fatehullah Butt
It gives Iqra Academy great pleasure that the children’s Husn-e Qiraat Qur’an Competition for 2011 was held by Fatehullah Butt at Rooty Hill Islamic Centre on Saturday 2nd April. The Competition was a great success by the contestants and the people involved. We had great feedback from the community.
The Objective of the Qur’an competition is to encourage Muslim children to learn the Qur’an, Sunnah and Islamic practices, and to provide a platform to build unity among Muslims.
Iqra Academy offers the
opportunity to young students to learn and practice Islam together with their
normal school activities, whether they attend a local public or private school.
Our lessons are offered outside school hours and during school holidays. We work
with parents to develop the best way to encourage our students to participate
and take more interest in the studies of the Academy.
Iqra Academy is managed and run by Mufti Amjad Iqbal. He is a qualified scholar
of Islamic studies and Hafiz of Quran. He has also completed PhD in Islamic
Jurisprudence.
Note: There will be a speech competition organized for our children very soon;
we are encouraging parents to prepare the children to participate in this
competition.
