High Commissioner Irfan Shaukat Presented his Letter of Credence to
Governor General Sam Mostyn AC
On Thursday,
16th October 2025, the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Australia,
Irfan Shaukat, presented his Letter of Credence to Governor General Sam Mostyn
AC in a formal ceremony held at Government House, Canberra.
During the ceremony, the High Commissioner Irfan Shaukat conveyed the greetings
and best wishes of Pakistan’s leadership to the Governor General, who warmly
reciprocated the sentiments.
In his remarks, the High Commissioner reaffirmed his commitment to
strengthening Pakistan-Australia relations, emphasizing cooperation in the
political, economic, educational, and scientific sectors, as well as enhancing
people-to-people connections.
He also highlighted the important role of the Pakistani diaspora in Australia
as a bridge fostering friendship and mutual understanding between the two Nations.
